Miss Sophia’s Diary
Today, I remembered why I hate people. Sometimes they just wrap their heads around an idea and refuse to believe anything else. Why should they?
A guy basically said that he “understands women” and said that the main character of “Miss Sophia’s Diary” is deranged, for the most part. I read it and I feel that she is a typical woman, and this is the mind of a woman’s brain that is hidden from people BECAUSE they fear they’ll be seen as insane. Long story short, I was enraged. Read more to see the angry spiel.
What’s so interesting about the journey is you.

In the 19th century the President of the United States would open the White House to the public on New Year’s Day and shake hands with everyone who came over.
The tradition started with George Washington (though his receptions were held before the White House was built) and ended with Herbert Hoover in 1933.

So I’ve been using these Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones for two weeks now and I am hooked. I got them because I am a ~blogger~ and a ~musician~ and I think that means my opinion counts!! Plus when someone emails you and says, “Hey we want to send you these headphones, they’re built by a brand with equipment in London’s Abbey Road Studios and also they’re made of SOFT NEW ZEALAND SHEEP’S LEATHER and will feel so nice on your EARS” then you probably should accept the offer.
They’re soft and warm and they sound pretty amazing. Currently the music of choice for me is Robyn’s record Body Talk. The bass is so thick and the highs are oh-so crisp. Songs played through these ‘phones make the rest of the world fade away. That’s how I like to listen to music.
Normally I would prefer to not be that hipster asshole who walks around with a pair of big expensive headphones around their neck, but I’ve grown quite attached to the look of them. The design is super nice. They’re sleek and modern but also remind me of old headphones from my high school library. Also I’m kind of a hipster asshole. Well a hipster at least.
Overall I am a huge fan. My only complaint is that they’re a little tight when I’m wearing my glasses, which can get a little uncomfortable. There’s a certain way to wear them where this happens less, but I haven’t yet mastered it. For me, this is something I’m willing to endure because I like them so much.
In conclusion, these beautiful headphones will set you back about $300 but if you can afford that and you’re looking for a high quality audio experience, go for it.
PLUS they’ve got a mic so you can use them with your iPhone. Bonus points!!
I’ll leave you with my Top 5 Songs I’ve Been Loving Through My Bowers & Wilkins P5 Headphones In No Particular Order:
- “Lost” - The Mary Onettes
- “Dancing on My Own” - Robyn
- “Get Outta Here” - Cheeky
- “Three Car Garage” - You Won’t
- “Lights Out” - SantigoldLater, gators.
